What are we looking for?

We are seeking an Embedded Engineer and Developer to join our team, focusing on the development and optimization of embedded systems and applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, mechatronics, robotics, and firmware development, along with experience using the latest tools and technologies in the field.

Responsibilities
• Design and develop efficient embedded applications and systems that meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure accurate results and optimal performance of embedded applications.
• Optimize and enhance existing embedded systems and applications to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain competitive.
• Adopt best practices and share knowledge across the team to promote continuous improvement.

Required skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in embedded systems development, firmware development and programming languages, such as C/C++ and C#.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Perl).
• Familiarity with microcontroller platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32).
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub) and continuous integration practices.
• Experience in designing, prototyping, and manufacturing circuit boards.
• Experience in sensor development and integration.
• Mechatronics/Robotics hardware and software development.
• Gateway and API platform development.
• Sensor data collection and analysis.
• Low-level programming and microcontroller programming.
• Proficiency in Linux environment tools (e.g., GDB and Gerrit).
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
• Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Machine Learning and Computer Vision experience.
• Server configuration and management.
• Docker containerization experience.
